Today, TUXEDO Computers announced the launch of a new variant of their InfinityBook Max 16 Gen10 Linux laptop, now equipped with AMD Ryzen AI processors instead of Intel options. Users can choose from three AMD CPUs: the Ryzen AI 7 350, Ryzen AI 9 365, and Ryzen AI 9 HX 370.
These AMD CPUs can be paired with either the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 graphics cards. Beyond the CPU options, the laptop retains high specifications including up to 96 GB of DDR5 5600MHz RAM, 16TB of NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, and a robust 99 Wh lithium polymer battery.
The InfinityBook Max 16 Gen10 features a stunning OLED display that offers a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels, 500 nits brightness, full 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and supports refresh rates up to 300Hz for an exceptional gaming experience.
In terms of connectivity, the laptop is equipped with the AMD Wi-Fi 6E RZ616, a 1 GBit/s RJ45 LAN port, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB4 port with DisplayPort 2.1, a USB-C 3.2 Gen2 port, three USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a Mini DisplayPort 2.1 port, and an SD card reader.
The new model comes pre-installed with TUXEDO OS featuring the latest KDE Plasma desktop environment, although customers can also opt for Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (Noble Numbat) as an alternative.
The starting price for the InfinityBook Max 16 Gen10 is set at 1,778 EUR (approximately $2,056 USD), which includes the base configuration with the AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 GPU, 16 GB of 5600 DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB WD SSD.
