Introducing the TUXEDO Stellaris 16 Gen7: A Linux Laptop with 128 GB RAM and HDR Display

TUXEDO Computers has unveiled the 7th generation of their TUXEDO Stellaris 16 Linux laptop, aimed at high-performance gaming enthusiasts. This model stands out with its impressive 1000 nits HDR mini-LED display, offering a resolution of 2560×1600, full sRGB coverage, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a rapid 300 Hz refresh rate. It boasts a powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 with 24GB GDDR7 graphics memory.

At the heart of the Stellaris 16 Gen7 is the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, featuring 24 cores (8 performance and 16 efficiency), capable of reaching clock speeds of 5.4 GHz. The laptop can be configured with up to 128 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and ultra-fast NVMe PCIe 5.0 SSD storage.

In terms of connectivity, users can benefit from a comprehensive range of ports including Thunderbolt 4, USB-C 3.2 Gen2, HDMI 2.1 with HDCP 2.3, Mini DisplayPort, three USB-A ports, and support for Intel Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Additional features include a liquid cooling connector for TUXEDO’s water cooling system, high-definition audio, a Full HD webcam, multi-color RGB backlit keyboard, and a large 99 Wh battery.

The laptop comes pre-loaded with TUXEDO OS, based on Ubuntu, or can be equipped with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Pre-orders for the TUXEDO Stellaris 16 Gen7 will begin this Friday, starting at 2,479.00 EUR (approximately $2,350) for the base configuration, which includes the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU, 16 GB RAM, and a 500 GB SSD. Shipments are expected to commence at the end of June 2025.
