Participants have a few key guidelines to follow for their submissions. Firstly, artists must possess the rights to the images submitted. Additionally, the images should be high-quality, at a resolution of 4K (3840×2160 pixels), and formatted in either PNG or WebP. Upon submission, contributors need to clarify that their artwork is licensed under either CC BY-SA 4.0 or CC BY 4.0. Notably, the contest will not accept AI-generated art.
The submission window will remain open until March 4, after which the voting period will start. Voting will conclude on March 11, 2026, with winners announced via the Ubuntu Discourse thread. Winners will receive Xubuntu stickers sent directly to them.
