The new version adds a Speech to Text functionality under Subtitles, utilizing OpenAI\u2019s Whisper technology thanks to the whisper.cpp project. A basic model is included by default, but users also have the option to download a more advanced model to enhance transcription capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>The developers have mentioned that users might encounter occasional inaccuracies while employing the AI-driven speech-to-text feature, and noted that the current versions only support <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/9to5linux.com\/fedora-asahi-remix-40-is-now-available-for-apple-silicon-macs-with-kde-plasma-6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Apple Silicon<\/a><\/strong> GPUs.
