The GNOME Project has announced the release of GNOME 46.7, marking the seventh maintenance update for the GNOME 46 "Kathmandu" desktop environment. This update includes numerous bug fixes, enhanced accessibility for the keyboard backlight toggle in Quick Settings, and improved defaults for GPU settings.<\/p>\n

One major change involves setting GPUs with built-in panels as the primary GPU by default, along with prioritizing high thread settings instead of real-time priority for the Kernel Mode Setting (KMS) thread. The update also resolves various issues, such as graphical artifacts in GNOME Shell, cursor glitches on virtual monitors, and enhancements in GNOME Initial Setup, which is now at version 46.7.<\/p>\n
