The latest release of Calibre<\/strong>, version 7.25, has been launched by developer Kovid Goyal, introducing significant enhancements to the popular cross-platform e-book software suite. A key highlight of this update is the added support for importing KFX files from 2024 Kindle devices<\/strong> via the MTP protocol, expanding the software’s compatibility with modern e-readers.<\/p>\n

Users will also benefit from a new feature that allows adjusting the size of link and note icons within the Book details section, accessible through Preferences > Look & feel > Book details. Additionally, a new tweak lets users control the East Asian language used for transliterating content into English, located in Preferences > Tweaks.<\/p>\n

The update addresses several bugs, including issues in the MTP driver that affected the recognition of internal storage and SD cards on certain devices. The Nook driver has also been refined to ensure compatibility with the Glowlight 4 e-reader on Windows systems.
