DXVK 2.6 has been released, introducing exciting updates, including support for NVIDIA Reflex, aimed at enhancing gameplay in various D3D11 games such as God of War, Overwatch 2, and Quake Champions. This significant update also improves the Vulkan swapchain implementation and adds support for the ID3D11On12Device1<\/code> interop interface, enhancing the performance further.<\/p>\n

The developers have noted a limitation with the new NVIDIA Reflex support, stating that it will not function in most Unreal Engine 4 games running in D3D11 mode due to the LatencySleep<\/code> function not being called. Therefore, for these games, switching to D3D12 is suggested.<\/p>\n

DXVK 2.6 brings several enhancements to popular titles including Assassin\u2019s Creed 3, Watch Dogs, Baldur\u2019s Gate 3, Silent Hill 2, and many others. It also addresses various bugs and performance regressions introduced in the previous version, DXVK 2.5, such as memory allocation errors on unified memory systems and crashes affecting visual novels.<\/p>\n
