The EndeavourOS team has officially released EndeavourOS Mercury Neo, which serves as a maintenance update for the earlier Mercury release. This new version addresses various issues and updates core components, reflecting ongoing improvements since its predecessor’s launch on February 10, 2025.<\/p>\n

EndeavourOS Mercury Neo is now enhanced with Linux kernel 6.13.7<\/strong> and updates the graphical interface to KDE Plasma 6.3.3<\/strong>. One of the standout improvements in this release is the installation process; it now automatically creates a 2GB EFI partition<\/strong>, doubling the previous size to allow users more freedom for system configurations, such as installing multiple kernels.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the EndeavourOS team has removed outdated options from the NVIDIA<\/strong> boot menu, eliminated the xwaylandvideobridge package from the installation script, and fixed the Arch Linux mirror ranking bug. Key software updates include the NVIDIA graphics driver (version 570.124.04), Mesa graphics stack (version 25.0.1), Mozilla Firefox (version 136.0.2), and XOrg Server (version 21.1.16). The Calamares installer has also been upgraded to version 25.02.2.1-2.<\/p>\n

EndeavourOS Mercury Neo is now available for download from the official website<\/a>.
