The upgrade process had been suspended due to several significant bugs affecting users across various Ubuntu flavors. These issues included instances where users ended up with unusable desktops, the unintentional removal of third-party packages during the upgrade, and failure of the GUI tool for Qt-flavored users due to missing dependencies.<\/p>\n

While some users successfully upgraded without incident, others faced significant challenges, necessitating a halt to the upgrades. This pause allowed developers to diagnose the problems, implement fixes, and ensure that Ubuntu 24.10 users received necessary updates.<\/p>\n
