After months of anticipation, Valve has rolled out an important update to the Steam Client, particularly benefiting gamers using AMD and NVIDIA GPUs on Linux. The latest version introduces advanced options to the in-game performance overlay, enhancing user experience and offering new accessibility features.<\/p>\n

One of the primary highlights for Linux gamers is the new options tailored for both AMD<\/a><\/strong> and NVIDIA<\/a><\/strong> graphics cards. Users can now enjoy improved Steam UI scaling in XWayland and see enhanced display scaling within the in-game overlay. The update also optimizes the Big Picture mode, improving the UI for viewing update progress.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the Steam Client update addresses several bugs that have affected functionality. It resolves issues with the \u2018Browse Local Files\u2019 button within \u2018Game Properties,\u2019 fixes rendering problems that led to unexpected dialogs during crashes, and addresses concerns surrounding crash dumps.<\/p>\n
