Following the recent launch of Firefox 151, Mozilla has now made available Thunderbird 151, the latest stable release of its versatile open-source email, calendar, address book, chat, and news client.<\/p>\n

Key features of Thunderbird 151 include the activation of OAuth sign-in with account auto-configuration, enhanced support for sorting tasks by their creation or modification date, and the ability to modify the OAuth provider details specifically for EWS (Exchange Web Services) accounts.<\/p>\n

In this version, Thunderbird reinstates the default application check upon startup, removes the automatic attachment of OpenPGP public keys in signed-only messages, and improves keyboard navigation within calendar view tabs. Additionally, it introduces support for canceling newsgroup postings and provides search result counts in the \u201cFind in Message\u201d feature.<\/p>\n

Various bugs have been addressed to improve functionality, such as preserving HTML formatting when replying with selected text, fixing issues with multipart\/related attachments during editing or forwarding, and ensuring correct display of auto-discovered Account Hub values during manual edits.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the update resolves problems involving forwarded malformed MIME emails with empty bodies, incorrect display dates for some IMAP emails, invisibility of the OWL add-on description in non-en-US locales, and other issues impacting virtual folders and task management.<\/p>\n
