This week turned out to be somewhat quiet in terms of news and updates. However, we did see the release of significant new versions of Solus and Clonezilla Live, along with an updated version of VirtualBox that adds support for the upcoming Linux 6.12 kernel series, in addition to new bugfix releases for Ardour, Calibre, and fwupd.

This week, KDE desktop enthusiasts were delighted with a new Plasma update that enhances XWayland gaming. Additionally, the PorteuX 1.7 distribution based on Slackware has been released, bringing a range of new features.
