qBittorrent 5.1.3 Release: Native Wayland Support and Additional Bug Fixes

qBittorrent has released version 5.1.3, marking the third maintenance update in the 5.1 series of this popular open-source, cross-platform BitTorrent client. This version includes vital enhancements and bug fixes, particularly addressing crashes associated with the getrandom() function on specific Linux setups.

This update comes more than four months after the previous version, 5.1.2, which primarily introduced fallback mechanisms for updates and resolved several bugs in features such as WebUI, RSS, and search functions. In addition to the noted bug fixes, qBittorrent 5.1.3 resolves issues involving invalid Transifex links and the improper visibility of the "Save as .torrent file" button prior to metadata retrieval. Other fixes include addressing a crash due to the processing order of libtorrent alerts and improving screen reader accessibility for the torrent list.

Additionally, the latest version now prevents the creation of empty folders when deleting or moving torrents, resolves errors linked to existing files during the exporting of torrent files, and enhances tab key navigation within the hidable tab bar widget. It also improves the search plugin updater.

One noteworthy inclusion in this release is native Wayland support for the AppImage, allowing for seamless operation on any GNU/Linux distribution without requiring additional installation. This version also includes improvements to the Windows installer by adding Catalan and Kurdish translations, as well as refining the update checker for Windows users.
